Wild flowers of Central Australia

In 2007 I went on a camping trip from Cairns to Alice Springs with diversion up to Darwin and excursions Kings Canyon and Uluru and the Olgas. On one occasion we camped at a spot with no facilities at all. It appeared to be a very flat environment with redstones and tussock type grass. When I looked closer I found many different forms of wild flowers and flowering grasses. It became an obsession to discover these tiny forms of life which could survive in such a hostile environment. With my new digital camera in hand and not quite the ability to capture well these flowers etc I snapped a number of them. I was inspired when arriving in Alice Springs to purchase a book so that I could identify some of the plants.
I have attached some of them.
